Only five senior members of the British royal family undertook 71 percent of all engagements in 2023, leaving the other six working royals to share the remaining 29 percent, according to a report on royals’ workload.

The report said that  Queen Elizabeth’s children and daughters-in-law occupy the top five spots among working royals, led by Princess Anne, 73, who had 343 engagements under her belt as of September 30.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are ranked seventh and eighth respectively in the list of 11 members of the British royal family.

The report by Write Royalty newsletter came days after Kate Middleton took a break from her royal duties to spend time with her children.

A report published in July said that the  number of royal engagements undertaken by Kate Middleton considerably dropped.

The Princess of Wales’ workload was questioned after figures published on Gert’s Royal Website revealed she had undertaken 45 solo engagements, along with 40 joint ones with her husband Prince William.

According to the report, Kate took part in a total of 120 engagements in 2019 and she would hardly be able to match that amount this year.
