Britney Spears reveals to lose key part in one major film

Rachel McAdams may not have been in the 2004’s The Notebook if Britney had cleared the final round of the character’s audition.

Sharing the revelation in her bombshell memoir The Woman in Me, the Toxic hitmaker has reached the final auditions for the key role, beating many A-list actresses.

After losing the part opposite Ryan Gosling, the Grammy winner revealed she held no grudges.

Weighing in on her stunning performance, the casting director Matthew Barry shared, “Britney wasn’t just good” in her session with Gosling, “she was phenomenal.”

He added, “It was a tough decision,” noting, “Britney blew us all away. Our jaws were on the floor. I was blown away. Absolutely blown away. She brought her A-game that day.”

The director continued, “Britney beat out several of the top female actresses at the time. Scarlett Johansson, Claire Danes, Kate Bosworth, Amy Adams, Jamie King, and Mandy Moore auditioned for this role. Britney beat out all of them. Everybody who was anybody that year wanted this part.”
