Keith Richards is reflecting on the possibility of a Rolling Stones hologram concert, and he thinks it’s “bound to happen,” with or without his consent.

Discussing the possibility of future generations enjoying Rolling Stones concerts with the help of AI and CGI, Keith expressed his opinion to Matt Wilkinson on Apple Music 1 on Tuesday.

The Rock legend, 79, said: “Well, I certainly wouldn’t rule it out. I’m pretty sure that it is bound to happen. Do I want it? Now, that’s another thing.”

He continued: “But I don’t know if I want to hang around that long enough, man. But at the same time, it won’t be up to me, will it?”

The Rolling Stones recently dropped their 24th studio album, Hackney Diamonds, which consisted of 12 new tracks by the band. The album contains surprise appearances by legend Stevie Wonder, pop star Lady Gaga and former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney.

Elsewhere in the interview, Keith teased another album after Hackney Diamonds, saying, “I think when we recover from Hackney Diamonds, we’ll be giving it a good thought.”

“But the reason these 12 are on it, these are the best. Also, you’ve got to draw a line somewhere. Some of them, because they’re not totally ready yet, they’re good, but they need a little work,” he added.

“But there’s another one in there, I think, maybe with a few more additions. But like I say, at the moment, let me get this one out the way, man.”
